(Nashville, Tenn.– May 13, 2022) The Red Clay Strays have hit the road for the Moment of Truth tour following their debut album release. On May 7 in Fairhope, AL, the tour kicked off at their sold-out album release show at Live at Five. Dates along the tour include two festival appearances at the Tennessee Motorcycles & Music Revival Festival and CMA Fest. The band will also be opening a show for Anderson East and Midland in July.

The Red Clay Strays Lead Singer Brandon Coleman shares his excitement about the tour, “This tour is different than any we’ve done before because we finally have a full project album out now. We’re eager to see our fan’s reaction to the album in person and want them to know that they can expect us to put every bit of passion and emotion that we have into each live performance that we play on the tour.”

The Moment of Truth tour follows the release of The Red Clay Strays’ album Moment of Truth, which debuted on April 29. Since its release, the album has been praised as a “meld of soul and rock and roll” (Americana Highways), has reached 147,836 streams, peaked at #8 on the iTunes Country Charts the day of its release, and has increased its fan base on socials. The Red Clay Strays have also created a video series for fans, “Stories from the Road,” which documents some of the stories that the band has found themselves in over their years of touring. Videos for this series are released every Friday on YouTube and Facebook.

About The Red Clay Strays:

With a sound both modern and reminiscent of a Sun Records vinyl, The Red Clay Strays are forging a new path with their spellbinding genre-bending brand of tunes. Inspired by the vibrant heyday of southern music, the band finds its origins in the styles of classic country, rockabilly, and gospel-fed soul, all the while ushering in a new era of rock-and-roll that is as distinctive as the men who form it. Born and bred in the red dirt clay of south Alabama, Brandon Coleman (lead vocals/guitar), Drew Nix (vocals/electric guitar/harmonica), Zach Rishel (electric guitar), Andrew Bishop (bass), and John Hall (drums), blended their unique individualities and influences to create a band with a rare sincerity that isn’t often seen in today’s industry. After spending the past five years cutting their teeth in the Gulf Coast music scene while simultaneously running the roads discovering who they are and where they belong in the world, The Red Clay Strays are prepared to take the world by storm as they reveal their Moment of Truth in the spring of 2022. Fans can stay up to date on news and announcements from the Red Clay Strays by checking their website or by following along with their journey on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Twitter.
