New event to spotlight Texas-rooted talent blending tradition with today’s modern country sound
(Nashville, Tennessee – May 14, 2025) — The sounds and spirit of Texas are coming to the heart of Music City with the launch of Turn It Up! Texas, a new live music event set for Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at Category 10 (formerly the Wildhorse Saloon) in downtown Nashville. Taking place from 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. CT, this event will help to kick off the excitement of CMA Fest week (June 5–8), bringing a fresh, high-energy experience to one of the most anticipated weeks in country music. Turn It Up! Texas promises an unforgettable show celebrating the rich musical legacy and culture of the Lone Star State.
Turn It Up! Texas will showcase the best of Texas Country, bringing together celebrated artists and rising stars ready for a larger spotlight. Fans can expect a dynamic mix of performances that blend the authentic roots of traditional Texas music with the bold spirit of red dirt, the edge of outlaw country, and the infectious energy of today’s Texas chart-toppers.
From neotraditional country to honky-tonk and the rebellious spirit that defines Texas’s musical heritage, Turn It Up! Texas will deliver a true taste of the artistry and pride that have made Texas a powerhouse in the country music world.
