(Nashville, Tenn. – Sept. 22, 2014) – Country recording artist Veronica Ballestrini has released a concept video for her current single, “Cookies and Cream,” which is now available for viewing on her YouTube page (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eSO55y1ZcRM&). Directed by Carl Diebold, the video was shot in downtown Nashville, Tenn., and features the iconic Elliston Place Soda Shop.
“Cookies and Cream” is an upbeat, high-spirited anthem reminiscent of the overwhelming “can’t eat, can’t sleep” feeling of falling in love and being in a “love spell” where life is filled with laughter and magic. This whimsical and bubbly tune showcases a fun, softer side of the young singer and highlights her versatile songwriting skills.
2014 has been an eventful year for Ballestrini thus far. In conjunction with the release of her single, “Cookies and Cream,” Ballestrini was named brand ambassador for Davy Crockett’s new Cookies & Cream Whiskey. Currently, she is on tour with Secondhand Serenade for the Rock band’s US and Asian tour.
More recently, Ballestrini released her sophomore album, Flip Side on June 17th and it is available through iTunes and Ballestrini’s website,VeronicaBallestrini.com. Veronica co-wrote all eleven tracks on the album and is the writer of her current single “Cookies and Cream.” Destiny Nashville’s Brandon Metcalf produced the album.
Earlier this year, Ford Motor Company chose Veronica to be an agent for the Ford Fiesta Movement as part of a promotion with Ford and YouTube. During the project, she and Rock band Secondhand Serenade created a music video for their track “La La Love,” which was featured in Ford’s advertising for the Ford Fiesta.
